Virginia Creeper Trail 8.14.201

Christine and I decided to do the whole Virginia Creeper trail, 72 and so miles. We staid of course in a great VRBO found by Christine at the Old Alvarado Station. First day we did the ride from Alvarado Station to the NC Virginia state line and a little bit more in NC and then back to Alvarado Station. The second day we went from the Alvarado Station to Abingdon and then back to Alvarado Station then we got in our car and rode back to Raleigh. ... BUT, fortunately we saw a sign off the highway and we stopped to se a pure GEM!!!! A botanical garden in Kernersville called the Paul J. Ciener Botanical Garden. Absolutely incredible and they are extending.
