Romania 4.26.2011

I took a unscheduled trip to Romania to help my parents settle in their brand new apartment in Sibiu. About a year ago my parents decided to move from Timisoara, my home town to Sibiu, my dad's home town. After a little bit of research they found a nice apartment in Sibiu. Stefan, from Bucharest helped them coordinate the move and for Easter 2011 all the big stuff got packed and moved by movers from Timisoara to Sibiu. After the big stuff was finished I decided to go help with the unpacking, placement of furniture, placement of paintings on the walls (in Romania pretty much all apartments are concrete or brick so everything had to be done with wall anchors ... tough!!!) etc.

I arrived in Romania in Bucharest where my parents met me at the airport. We drove to Sibiu and started working on the apartment the morning after I arrived in Romania. Everything went pretty smoothly and in 4 full days everything was in its place. Everything! Plants, paintings, furniture, TV, even the internet guy came and installed it, kitchen, ... everything!

For the rest of the trip we visited friends and relatives, had wonderfully food, visited Poiana Brasov, Brasov and Bucharest... certainly a full trip but a VERY successful trip!
